1. Overview

This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Munda Computer Edu Care (MCEC) processes refund requests. We are committed to providing fair and transparent refund procedures while maintaining the quality of our educational services.

2. Refund Eligibility Criteria

2.1 Eligible Scenarios

  • Course cancellation by MCEC due to insufficient enrollment
  • Medical emergency with proper documentation
  • Relocation to a different city/state with proof
  • Technical issues preventing course delivery (online courses)
  • Duplicate payment or payment errors
  • Course content significantly different from advertised curriculum

2.2 Non-Eligible Scenarios

  • Change of mind after course commencement
  • Poor academic performance or failure in examinations
  • Disciplinary action or suspension from the institute
  • Completion of more than 25% of the course duration
  • Violation of institute rules and regulations
  • Non-attendance without valid reasons

3. Refund Timeline and Percentages

Within 7 days of course start 75% 25% deduction for administrative costs
8-15 days after course start 50% 50% deduction for resources utilized
16-30 days after course start 25% 75% deduction for course materials and instruction

4. Special Refund Categories

4.1 Medical Emergency

  • Doctor's certificate required
  • Hospital admission proof
  • Up to 80% refund possible
  • Case-by-case evaluation

4.2 Job Transfer/Relocation

  • Official transfer letter required
  • Address proof of new location
  • Up to 70% refund possible
  • Must be beyond 100km radius

5. Refund Process and Documentation

5.1 Required Documents

  • Original fee receipt and admission documents
  • Written refund application with reason
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport)
  • Bank account details for refund transfer
  • Supporting documents as per refund category
  • No Dues Certificate from institute

5.2 Processing Steps

  1. Submit refund application with required documents
  2. Application review by academic committee (5-7 working days)
  3. Verification of eligibility and documentation
  4. Approval/rejection notification via email/SMS
  5. Refund processing (10-15 working days after approval)
  6. Bank transfer confirmation to registered account

6. Course-Specific Refund Terms

Short-term Courses

(Duration: 1-3 months)

  • Refund window: 15 days
  • Maximum refund: 75%
  • Processing fee: ₹500

Regular Courses

(Duration: 6-12 months)

  • Refund window: 30 days
  • Maximum refund: 90%
  • Processing fee: ₹1000

Advanced Courses

(Duration: 12+ months)

  • Refund window: 45 days
  • Maximum refund: 90%
  • Processing fee: ₹1500

7. Payment Method Specific Terms

7.1 Refund Methods

  • Bank Transfer: Direct transfer to registered bank account (Preferred method)
  • Cheque: Account payee cheque (Additional 5-7 days processing)
  • Cash: Only for payments made in cash (Up to ₹10,000)
  • Credit Card: Refund to original card (5-10 working days)
  • UPI/Digital Wallets: Same payment method refund

8. Dispute Resolution

8.1 Grievance Procedure

  1. Submit written complaint to Student Grievance Committee
  2. Committee review within 15 working days
  3. Personal hearing if required
  4. Final decision communication in writing
  5. Appeal to Director within 30 days of decision

9. Force Majeure Conditions

In case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government orders, pandemic, etc.):

  • Course postponement with full fee adjustment to new batch
  • Online alternative delivery if possible
  • Pro-rata refund for undelivered portion
  • Extended validity for course completion

10. Important Notes

  • All refunds are subject to TDS deduction as per Income Tax Act
  • Processing fees are non-refundable in all cases
  • Refund applications must be submitted within specified time limits
  • Incomplete applications will be rejected
  • Refund decisions are final and binding
  • Course materials must be returned in original condition
